Researching Casino Payouts
Knowing how and where to find information on Casino Payouts is something
that a serious player must know or find out. Each casino no matter what
software they use, will have slightly different payouts on their games
from other casinos. To find the payouts, go to the casino website and
look for information on their games such as their "Games Preview" page,
their "Fair Gaming" page or their "About Us" page.
Some casinos decide not to put this information on their website, but
instead put it in their casino, in the rules, help or how to play
section. Just login to the casino and select one of these options from
the casino menu.
The reason it is so important to know the casino payouts, are two
fold. First, no two games are exactly alike. If you have a choice of two
games in front of you, one may have a 9/6 full pay option, giving you a
higher return for your play and the other may have only an 8/5 non full
pay, thus giving you a lower return for your play than the previous. At
the top of the machine will be the payout table. Look at the Full
House/Flush payout schedule. A game with 9-1 for a full house and 6-1
for a flush has the best payout so this would be the game to look for.
In Slots, the payout is a bit different. Generally Slots pay out
better than other casino games, with some games topping the 100% mark.
This does not mean that you have a 100% chance of winning a jackpot, or
the biggest paying combination. What this means is that the higher the
payout percentage, the better chance you have of hitting a winning
combination. If a machine boasts a 97% payout, it means that for every
dollar put in, the machine pays out 97 cents. But this doesn't mean that
it will be you or even the person next to you that gets the 97 cent
return, it's an overall average of the machine.
